Requesting Special Equipment (Video)

We sometimes needed to order special equipment from third-party vendors.

I’ve had to make calls to obtain equipment for special mattresses, heart vests, and prosthetics, just to name a few.

When I placed the call, it was like placing a consult call. They would ask for the patient’s name, DOB, room number (a copy of the physician's order faxed to them), and more.
